A prominent philanthropic organization is seeking to engage a developer or small agency to assist in the redevelopment of our flagship website. The organization’s core purpose is to showcase cutting-edge non-profit efforts around the world through documentaries, short films and photography.

The redeveloped website aims to create a network of blogs using WordPress MU (Multi-user) all linked by a common user interface and navigation. These blogs will utilise photo and video content hosted by third party services.

Candidates should have demonstrated experience of the following:

• HTML/CSS/Javascript for template formatting
• PHP/MySQL development
• Configuring and customizing WordPress
• Integrating third party plugins and services with WordPress

We envisage this project to be a 2-3 month engagement for the successful applicant, with a possible support contract required once the site has been relaunched.

The organization’s offices are located in Los Angeles, and we would prefer candidates to be located in the area to facilitate on-site meetings and workshops.
