Hijacking of home Page/access to hotmail

  #1
Aug 1st, 2004
When I try and access my hotmail account, I keep being diverted after a few seconds as it loads the page, it reverts to the following address :http://super-spider.com/hp.htm?id=80
It also keeps resetting my home page in internet explorer options to this address after I change it and will also not let me access certain websites
I have installed and run Ad-aware and also used trendmicro housecall and all of them report no virus or adware present although when I ran them first they found and remove signifcant amounts of virus's and trojans and adware.
CAn any one tell me how to solve this problem.

My computer is a 1700 Celeron running windows XP home edition.

Thanks

Danny

Read the "Spyware" topic linked in my sig, please and follow the advice there. Using simply an Antivirus product and one malware removal product isn't enough nowadays, I'm afraid.
