I have a sony 2Gb flash disk which is causing me great torment. I had a black out one time with the flash disk still on the computer. When power was restored and i placed the flashdisk back to the computer ot was detected fine but when i tried to access it i was told to insert a disk.

When i chacked on properties it was stated that the flash disk had 0Mb of disk space even when i tried to populate it was still zero bytes.

Is there a way i can revover the space that is lost on the drive

Well at this time it seems your flash drive has corrupted. Try to format it and use it again.

moral of story: save important files in a hard disk drive
