Have you tried doing a system restore?? (Maybe something has gotton messed up in the registry)
1) Boot up and press F8 until a menu comes up...
2) Select option 5 (Command Prompt)
3) Type this @ the C prompt: scanreg/restore
Now pick an entry from before this started and MAYBE it will correct it
This is usually a WINLOGON error

Good luck!

hi, try restoring the registry, boot to DOS mode then go to windows folder..under windows folder..type cd sysbckup then enter..under that folder type dir then you can check that there is a file that look like this rb001.cab, rb002.cab etc...the rb001.cab is the one that is used by windows...the other cabs is just a back up..so rename the rb001 to a different filename..then copy any of the back - up file and name it as rb001.cab, then try to reboot the system.. see if it will works..
