Job type- 6 months contract to hire, (The client is very serious about hiring the candidate)

Sr. Programmer Analyst.

Requirements:
*A minimum of 7 years application development experience including five years of programming experience in RPG and CL languages.
*Strong knowledge of application development in RPG, RPGLE, SQL, and Sequel.
*Also experience with WebSphere a plus. Knowledge of personal computer programming languages is helpful.
* Experience with Java and Web development is a plus.
*Individual must posses a strong desire to master Java technology.
* Must have good interpersonal skills and the ability to function in a large corporate environment.

Essential Job Functions:
*A Must have is a strong background in application support dealing with heavy customized applications.
* Design new/enhances existing systems, prepares application design documentation and designs/codes/tests/implements applications. Troubleshoots hardware/software problems and prepares/executes application test plans. Trains users and facilitates design sessions.
