Newbie Poster
My Intoduction Hi everybody,
I am English but I live in Germany. I write programs in VB6.
My main program is for jewellery shops, they enter their stock, print small labels with barcode etc.
One of my Danish customers is an auctioneer and he is also a coin dealer. He has asked me to write him an Internet Auction program for coins!!
I am going to need a lot of help and I hope you guys will be so kind as to give that.
I don't know where to start. I thought I should take a look at PHP. I wanted to install it on my computer to see how it works. I have down loaded PHP 5.2.4.tar.gz, and .bz2, but I can't see how to install it.
Who can get me started with PHP?
