UBS (u3) drive seen as Media Device by Sync Center

  #1
Sep 8th, 2007
I have 3 USB Flash drives. Two were formerly U3 devices which I formatted using the u3 removal utility. The other one is your basic flash drive. When I plug them into the computer to try and play around with Sync Center, the normal USB drive works fine. The two (former) u3 devices however, show up as media devices, and Sync Center opens up Windows Media Player to sync them.

Needless to say, I do not want this to happen. I have various files I'd like to routinely sync to my flash drive and I would like to get Sync Center working properly.

Has anyone had a similar experience?
I honostly can't stand computers, networks, hardware, software, databases, programming languages, php, c++, mysql, windows, linux, macs, solaris, processors, protocols, servers, clients, chats, ims, emails, and so forth and so on; but I find myself rather intrigued...
