Hi there,

Please can someone check the speed of our site from USA or UK. We think we have a international bandwidth problem. Any ideas what the recommended speed should be ?

We asked our ISP to look into the problem and this is what they found, quoted below:

"The site was loading extremely slowly due to the number of mysql
> connections that was made to sql3a.your-server.co.za. Normal PHP
> files, not making a mysql connection functioned without any problems.

Page loads pretty quickly in Japan.

Thanks for checking it out, we have decided to move from our Local South African Server to a German Server. I think this has helped alot. If anyone can check from UK or USA it would be great. www.giftday.co.za thanks - Craig
