I joined a new startup company and working on the project right now. Would you guys spare your time and check out the site (www.yippykya.com) and critique/ review it? Any critique, input and feedback much appreciated. TIA.

By the way you might run into some copyright issues depending on the pronounciation (yippy-ki-yay is the trademark catchphrase of the die hard films)

otherwise though, very nice site. Did you use a CMS (joomla? mambo?) or is homemade?

Okay... please read this thread.

I know it may be a chore, but it covers most of the issues your website has.

You have a rather intriguing site with lots of visuals and appeal... don't ruin it or let it fail due to silly mistakes.

Also...
Put all JS after the Title and Meta tags in the Header - better for SE.

Put Styles in a seperate file.

Replace the JS Rollovers with CSS - faster, more likely to work for everyone, and less likely to cause problems.

That should keep your busy for a while... keep up the good work

Thanks Jbennet and Autocrat for your inputs.

Jbennet, I'm not sure about the copywrite issue. I believe the owner has taken care that issue.

Autocrat, thanks for the input and feedback.

Read what autocrat said.

Your site it a pleasure to view, but the drop down menus fail under firefox, on my linux box at least.

The more browsers you have tested your site on the better imo.

Hi yippy,

I noticed the vertical sub menus seemed a little "sticky" in Firefox. Consequently, I had to roll-out and reselect the menu item in order to read the sub menu items. I agree- change them to CSS.
