"ugh" to CSS Validation - when the Browsers play by the rules - so should we
So long as the css doesn't cause the browser to stuff up - it makes no real difference.
(otherwise it's more header requests, more filesto download, more time, more effort... all because a certain browser or two are built right!)

That will sort the basics out.
Please change the :hover colour for links... it disappears into the image colour.
becareful with your News and Search blocks... content will spill out if they are set sizes!
Whats wrong with the Lawyers Link?
What happened with the image of people shaking hands?
Some very well thought out features though.
Nice large clickable surface areas for the nav.
Well structured nav.
Fairly good copy (probably needs a chage or two for SE reasons).
Very attractive site.
Keep up the good work!

Hi cmruddle,
I noticed the text on the left navigation was jumbled together. As well, the date was covered up. The top navigation "lawyer" link was not congruent with the overall theme. I would also look at moving the top navigation to the top right. That space looks empty.
The background is entirely too distracting--I'm running a wide-screen monitor. Find one thing and stick to it.
Your "conditions of use" page has some extra text at the top that floats off of the page.
Some pages are centered at the >800 range while other pages are 100% width. I'd try to keep the site consistent throughout.
You definitely have some chops in bringing the different elements together. Just keep tweaking it.
