problem up loading photo files Hi please can you help, I am having big problems up loading photo files to a web site. I can upload but they have to be very a small file size.
Is there any one out there who can please help me??????????????

Why do they have to be a small file size? does your host have a file size limit?

what program are you using to make the images/upload them? I assume the 'basic' you refer to is some sort of setting?

Have you tried contacting the folks at the site you're trying to upload to? They might have run across the problem before.
Also, do you have any other sites you could use to try to replicate the problem? It would be helpful to know if the problem was specific to one site or not.
Another thought: Is FTP an upload option for you? I've whacked some pretty huge .mpg movies up to sites via FTP and never had them choke.

I also have the same problem when I try to up load to my geocites web page, so I guess that the problem must be my end.
I am sorry but being a helpless female I do not know what FTP is??????

FTP is the File Transfer Protocol (I think). I don't know what you've been using before, but if you've not heard of ftp then you're probably uploading via a form type interface I guess. Though I could be wrong ofcourse.
FTP capability is built into ie6 if you type in the url bar:
ftp:// instead of http://
and then follow it with the address that you want to upload to. You will need all your passwords tho.
