Yes. Norton is a massive resource hog, besides being a crappy AV.

i think its,ccApp.exe maybe [ i use symantic coperate edition ].double click on the icon by the clock and go into its preferences to set it up the way you want .are you using just the norton AV or do you have Norton internet security one installed ,that is the real resource hog !!!!

well i am using norton internet security if this is so crap what other great anti viuses are they
