slow startup and modem speed

Hi,
Thanks for your service. My computer is running really slow and I have used spybot and ad-aware to clean things up..it still is not working as it was. Here's my Hijackthis log. Could you please tell me what I should delete. I especaillly do not want repeated pop-up ads that have auto reinstall. Thanks

if this doesnt work then restore your computer to the system restore point you created early then post again(only if no one else with better advice posts here).
hope this fixes your problems. For more info you might wanna look in the windows tips and tweaks section where csgal might have written a tutorial on this.

You've helped me before and i hope you can again. Now my computer halts and gives a "Not Responding" message when I use the pull down arrow to "save as" in every program. Below is my Hijack his log. Is there anything else I should get rid of??? Thanks

I see a few entries I don't like the look of:

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [pqrlezrls] C:\WINDOWS\System32\izzlruih.exe
Note both it's name, and filename appear to be randomly generated alphabetical nonsense, a very viruslike activity right there. One of the experts will probably be around soon, and they might have a better idea of what that is.

O4 - Startup: PowerReg Scheduler V3.exe
This is a known piece of adware which serves up popup/popunder ads.

The rest looks okay to me. You can try removing those with Hijackthis, but I'd wait a bit and see what one of the security mavens have to say, as some of these will just reinstall themselves if you remove them.
