Hello,
I was wondering has anyone seen or developed a flash based user interface for an application.

Flash is generally used on websites and games but I was wondering if its robust enough to be used as a user interace.

regards,
Vishal

From the little i know of the subject, Adobe AIR allows you to use web based technologies for desktop applications and i would guess Flash would be included. Flash uses ActionScript 3 which is object oriented and i believe to be very powerfull. So as a guess i would say that it is very possible.

Hi,

I think the Flash/VB article on http://www.adobe.com/devnet/flash/activex.html may be helpful in this discussion.

This popular white paper is written by some engineering folks from our organization Mindfire Solutions (http://www.mindfiresolutions.com).

I hope you find it useful!

Cheers,
Byapti
