Computer won't start until turning off/turning on PSU

So a curious thing occurs with my PC. I will use my comp for 24 hours, shut it off for about 6 hours or so and try to turn it back. All the fans turn on and there is power to the CD drive, but for some reason the HDD light and the power light don't come on. I have to turn off the PSU then turn it on again for the computer to start back up. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

Maybe your 20 pin power connector on the motherboard or from the power supply is loose or not properly connected to each other. Try to push all the wires towards to the motherboard socket.

If it didn't work, try another power supply.
