I am trying to decide which intro page is better:

New Page:
http://www.editavenue.com/t_page.asp?adstats=31602

Old Page:
http://www.editavenue.com/secondary_...?adstats=31445

The website is an online editing service marketplace. The new page is geared towards proposal editing (content changes depending on which Google adword keyword is clicked on, this page is for "proposal" keywords) and the old page is a general intro example.

Any suggestions / recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks for the help.

deff the second one, the first one is small and has a weird awkwardness to it, that i cant quite put my finger on.

EDIT:

also about the second one, it also looks alot more professional.

Thank you for the helpful feedback.

Right now 33% of visitors who access the new page (first one listed above) click on a link. Only 22% of people who visit the old page (second one listed above) click on a link. It is probably because the new page displays links at the top of the page while the old page has its links located at the bottom.

So the big question is should I go with the new page with the higher click percentage, even though a majority of you find the old page more aesthetically pleasing? Or should I just go back to the drawing board?

go back to the drawing board, use the same style design as the first one but with the looks of the second one to get a very aesthetically pleasing index page that will still get a high click percentage.

Hi David:

To be honest, I like the first one, which seems to be a little modern but would difficult for you to manage or edit due to its placement. Also download time for the first one is better in compare to the second one. Only thing missing in first one is Top Three navigation Brown color image link. Just try to place a light yellow background with a tabular structure with a 1 px left and right line crossing horizontally the screen.

Secondly, I found your Logo is somewhat different in shape and color then the rest of your site. So, for your kind of site, use a Vector logo with two color blue/yellow and little small.

Do i need to say something about your second one

Cheers !!
