Connecting Access 2007 to VB 5.0

Hi all

Newbie to visual basic. I need to create an application to read and write in information into database. It is a prototype that y i choose to use Access as my database. I am having problems connecting database to VB. I choose Microsoft Access as data source. It seems that the problem lies with the file extension for Access 07.

Please Help!!

Firstly, it would helpful if you posted your code, or at least enough of it so that one could tell if you have a software coding issue. Also, it would be helpful if you shared any error message you are getting.
