I found that article pretty truthful. I used to have a Windows and Linux machine - I'd use Win as my default system and Lin for all of my schoolwork and to play around on. Since I got my mac, I'm in love. It's the best of both worlds 
I even got rid of my linux machine entirely in favor of my mac.
