I am using Dreamweaver to FTP. The timestamp on the server is always 7 hours ahead of my local time (Pacific). This is disconcerting when editing because I want to see that the time and date are exactly the same on the file.
My web host and the servers are in the same time zone so they should show the same time. The hosting company have checked the server several times and insist that it is in Pacific Time. They have sent me printscreens to verify what they are seeing. Also they have sent me the results of a query that shows the server is in Pacific time.
I have looked at all the preferences in Dreamweaver to see if there's a setting for remote time, or something, but cannot find it.
Anyone know why the server changes the timestamp from my view?
