FTP File Upload Problems

  #1
Oct 25th, 2007
I've been using WS_FTP Pro for months to upload files to a remote server for publishing my web site.

All of a sudden, it refuses to upload properly any more. Although the transfer seems to be ok, it leaves the files on the remote server as 0KB and there's nothing there.

Anyone got any ideas?

Several possibilities:

- Did they start charging for this?

- Is your file space full?

- Did they change the type of protocol for FTP?

- Is the server blocking certain file types (such as .mp3)?

- Is upload moderated? If so, your files might contain prohibited material.
