  #1
Oct 25th, 2007
Hi everyone,
I am a begginner in flash and i was learning shape tween and motion tween.
I understand that we must convert into symbol bitmap images to use them for motion tween but can we use graphics (that i drew on photoshop or something) in shape. i read that i must break appart the image but dont really understand when it comes to use it for the shape tween..

Please can anyone help.

PS: would it be possible if anyone can sen me some tutorials to get tips. I am learning the basic (to learn flash) before moving to actionscript.

No, just symbol, bitmap image could also be a symbol.
i must break appart the image
Right, you wil have to if you want effects on every individual parts. For that use PNG format. I think Flash CS3 supports photoshop images too, I dont know much about since I dont have it.

For shape tween, you conver each part into shape.

You search google and you will get loads, but two of my favorites are:
