I don't know whats what here so I thought I would ask. for games and overall performance which cpu would be better for my computer:
I am currently using the 2.8 ghz processor but i can get my hands on the other one easily I was just wondering. thanks

The 3.06Ghz processor would give you a slight performance insrease, but it would be bugger all really. A better move would be changing to a 'C' class processor with 800MHz fsb, but even then the performance increase isn't dramatic.
For games, video card is far far more important than processor.

Yeah probably not worth it then, It's in one of my friends computers (he has 2) and I was thinking of trading him since he doesnt use the other for gaming, but o well thanks
