Backup script

hey im a newbie and wanted to know if anyone had the full script to backup the current files in your directory. Only the files and not folders into a different specified directory.

cp * /destination/directory "Technological progress is like an axe in the hands of a pathological criminal."
or if you want to do a proper backup of filesystems then use ufsdump and ufsrestore its a really useful tool and can be scehduled using cron. Read the man pages they give the best description.
