Can anyone suggest a good, FREE, site search engine. I like jrank because you only have to provide a backlink but I dont like that their results page goes to their site. Are there any that are free, stay within your url, and only require a backlink? Just a basic site content search.

Hi,

I hope this will be useful to you.

I use a piece of software called Zoom Search Engine. They have a free version - which only search, .html, .htm, .txt if i remember rightly and if you purchase their paid versoin it will search everything on your server.

Here is the link - http://www.wrensoft.com/zoom/

I hope this is of good use to you.
