Hi again,

I'm still trying to narrow down the possible problems I outlined the other day in my first posting here.

The firmware on my G5 dual 2.0 is 5.1.5f0. I find on the Apple support site that the later or latest is 5.1.8f7. It promises more stability and requires OS 10.3.5. My Panther install disk is 10.3.3.

Does this mean that if I update the firmware I will not be able to do a fresh install of 10.3.3, boot up and run the combo update?
