I just reinstalled a Hardrive and Memory into a AMD Athlon system after there was a black out at my sisters home which blew out the Old Hardrive.I installed Windows XP Pro on her machine it worked fine for a while but when i installed Office XP. the system started freezing after about 1-2 minutes repeatedly after every boot i did a V Scan but nothing showed up... Does anyone have any solutions to the problem.....

Thanx

what did u have intsalled physically in the pc when you upgraded to WinXP? others have stated that w/the AMD in particular and i believe in conjunction with XP it is adviseable to only have your hdd, ram & vid card installed on OS install and then install all other devices (ps XP gets a little antsy if u install a bunch of hardware all at once)
