Anytime I try to check my e-mail and enter my password, it briefly shows my inbox, and then takes me to some search website.

is it's address. I figured it was spyware, but I've run two free spyware destroyers, including Spyware S+D, and neither have fixed this problem. How can I get rid of this problem?
Edit: link altered to render it nonfunctional (it's a nasty one

Download HijackThis from here & unzip it into it's own, permanent folder, (Not a temporary folder or the desktop (in a folder on the desktop is fine) & not directly on your hard drive).
If you have anything disabled in MsConfig, please re-enable it/them.
Start HJT & with all browser windows closed, press the scan button. When the scan is finished the scan button will change to save. Save the log to a text file, copy the entire contents of the text file & paste it into the body of your post. DO NOT FIX ANYTHING YET. Most of what is there is necessary for the running of your system.

Click My Computer, then C:\
In the menu bar, File->New->Folder.
That will create a folder named New Folder, which you can rename to "HJT" or "HijackThis". Now you have C:\HJT\ folder. Put your HijackThis.exe there, and double click to run it.
Go here for an on-line scan & set it to autoclean for you.
Try this scan as well.
Download CWShredder from here & run it. Select the fix button & it will fix everything related to CoolWebSearch that is stored in it's database. Close ALL windows, including Iinternet Explorer, before running CWShredder. Reboot.
To help prevent this from happening again, install the patches for the vulnerabilities that this hijacker exploits by going here for your critical updates.
Reboot after doing this & post another log please.
I will continue on when you have placed hijackthis into a permanent folder

The CW Shredder file said it was corrupted, Win Update and the Panda scan were blocked by the same page that blocks my e-mail, and I cut and pasted the Hijack file to the destination you gave me. What do I do next?

Try the following first & see if it helps with the CWShredder download.
Smartfinder is a variant of CoolWebSerach. Before you can do anything about remedying it, you need to download and run this program.
If no good, post your new log.

It downloaded, but said CoolwwwSearch.Smartkiller (v1/v2) has not been found on your system. Here's the log:

winlogin.exe is not a system file but is added as a result of the RANDEX.E VIRUS.
Were you in safe mode when trying to delete it? If you were try deleting it with moveonboot. You will have to find the file & right click on it after installing moveonboot & select delete on reboot.
Close all (browser) windows & rescan with hijackthis. When the scan is finished place a check in the box to the left of the following entries & click 'fix checked':
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [Microsoft Updates] wkssvr.exe
O4 - Global Startup: winlogin.exe
Find that file too & have moveonboot delete it too.
Download moveonboot from here & the file(s) you choose will be deleted on reboot.
MoveOnBoot allows you to copy, move or delete files on the next system boot. This comes in very handy, if you need to replace or delete files which are locked by other applications, loaded into memory or cannot be changed until next system boot. You could manually enter a line to the wininit files, but using MoveOnBoot is much simpler, since the program can be integrated into shell - it creates the "Copy/Move/Delete on boot" context menu item.
