Hi. this is my mom's computer and i have been trying to find a way to fix without buying a new op system. cannot open control panel. she has viruses and i'm not sure what they are or how to fix them. i was hoping you could help. there are alot of things on here and i cannot get to add or remove programs to get them off. here is my hjt

i also ran the AVG and have several files in quarantine, which i did before finding this site. it is not in a report not sure how to show those to you.

go to command line then go to windows\system32 directory, type dir *.cpl, check if control panel applet is present, if you can find try typing its filename, example type = > intl.cpl and enter the regional language options will pop-up, if this doesn't help, you might need to reformat and re-install your OS..
