Trouble Installing Xp Pro
![]() |
I was installing windows xp pro and the blue screen keps coming up and says driver irql not less or equal. I want to get back to my normal xp to stop the xp pro upgrade installation. How do I exit set-up?
Sorry dude, i don't think this is possible. I know of one solution, but that'll wipe the WHOLE machine. u need to reformat it. place the operating system cd in the computer tray and then turn off the computer. when the manufacturer's screen comes up, press the F button that goes into system setup. select the option to boot from cd. then when that happens, it'll ask u to install windows. press the appropriate key and then erase the partition on the hard drive and then install windows on it. Hope that helps.
