I have a .php page that writes data to a MySQL db when the user hits "submit". Anyway...to make sure the data on the .php is the latest in the db I would like to use an auto refresh javascript. I have a free one that works great but I would like the the script to "submit" the data to the db right before the refresh that way if someone is in the middle of typing they don't lose their data. Is this possible? We don't have a lot of users and the auto refresh will only be run every 3-5 min. I understand that there is always the possibility of data loss with multiple users reading/writing from/to the db.
