Due to rapid growth, Volt Technical Resources, the primary recruiting partner for 2Wire in San Antonio, TX is looking to hire Technical Support Agents who are passionate and knowledgeable about computers and networking. 2Wire is a provider of broadband service platforms for the DSL market. Its solutions help DSL providers offer subscribers an integrated 'triple-play' of data, voice, and media services. 2Wire's products and services include the award-winning Home Portal® residential gateways, the Media Portal™ set top box, and a robust Component Management System (CMS) for service management and provisioning. Level 1 Technicians receive inbound calls at our client's state of the art support center, where they provide customers with technical assistance with issues concerning their component services. Unlike other Technical Support positions, there is absolutely no selling or quotas involved. All calls and cases are inbound only. This position offers room for fast career advancement by starting Level 1 Technicians at $11/hr with the ability to advance to direct status with 2Wire in 120 days. Many of our agents are given the opportunity and have moved into QA Engineer, Systems Engineer, Systems Administrator and Team Supervisor positions. Requirements:

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent. Working knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, Operating Systems, IP Addressing, DOS Commands, Hardware and Software troubleshooting skills is a must. All candidates must pass a 20 question technical proficiency test to move into the interview process. Drug screens and criminal background checks will be conducted upon hire.
