Help What browser are you?

Hey,
Ad like to know the capabilites of users browser in code so that i give her the codes for her browser I would like to do this without using the deprecated globals like $http_user_agent
and $http_accept
Actually I would like to have two php scripts for my site one for WAP browsers and other for normal browsers. I you have solved this before, please send me the code you used to branch to the two different scripts
PLEASE ADVISE!

i suggest using javascript. get the name of the browser using javascript and refresh with the browser name in the url. have php detect it using the $_GET method and show the right code based on that input. the only problem i see is i think most wap browsers will have javascript disabled by default.(not sure) if you need sample code just let me know.
