Help windows 2000 professional

Can anyone tell me how to log back on as administrator now that the computer has been set to start without a password?

It just keeps automatically logging on under a user name but this denies me access into the administrator tools etc.

I have been told to control -alt -delete twice and that this would bring me into a log on screen but that was a no go.

Help please there must be a simple way around this

i think that like winxp you can go to control panel and users and change the way you log on and off

How about, once the laptop has started, trying Start --> Log Off? Then logging on as administrator.

Thanks all have finally found out how to get back in once the autologin has been set, all you need to do is hold down the shift button once windows is booting then the login screen appears (to avoid this problem I have set login to passord.
