Help please,
I had to have a new hard disc installed. I reloaded windowsXP home and all my old software including Roxio easy DVD creator 6.
now Roxio will not recognise the presence of my NEC ND2500A writer. This reads fine but will not write. The driver file details says the Roxio files are there.
Interestingly when I try and write off windows movie maker I also get a message saying the DVD writer is not there.
Any suggestion how to fix this?
I have already tried removing and reloading Roxio creator 6.
thanks
David

have you tried removing and re-adding the device?
Disconnect it - reboot and check it's not there in Device Manager - removing it by Add/Remove hardware if necessary.
Reconnect it - let it be discovered and tell us what happens.
