computer will not get past: Reboot and Select proper boot device or insert boot medi.

computer will not get past: Reboot and Select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key..

my computer will not load up and get past this stage. whenever i press any key it just repeats Reboot and Select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key..

i cant seem to figure out what the problem is PLEASE HELP

There are many "won't boot" threads in this forum. The best way of dealing with them is hope that a Windows REPAIR from the CD sorts it out.
