Job Description: Overall, the position of Graphics Software Engineer is expected to partner with the organization to:




Design, code, test, review software components of the Graphics API and driver including samples and tools for the next generation Playstation®.

Software development duties may include shader and effect run-time, sample code, asset import and tools.

Other required skills include software vectorization multi-threading and parallelism.

The work will be conducted on various platforms including Windows, Linux, Playstation and prototypes.


Qualifications: Experience in 3D Graphics engineering, console game engine design or device driver is a plus.

Experience in shader programming, Cg, HLSL, or GLSL.

Strong programming background in C, C++, assembly. Understanding of optimization at the micro architecture level.

Strong Computer Science, and software engineering.

Exposure to embedded software experience at the device driver level is a plus.

Good Discipline in following engineering process.

Familiar with software engineering process improvement, software configuration management.

Excellent skills in communication are required, as well as ability to handle standard office productivity tools.

This position has travel requirement up to 20%.
