Is there any way that VB can force Windows not to modify a file

Hi All,

I am new to this forum. I hope all of you can help me.

I have a problem with my VB application. Whenever I change the language option in the regional setting of the windows other than English (United States), it mess up my zip file so that my server always return an error that my zip file is corrupted. I am

My question is is there any way to force the windows not to modified ( leave as it is) so that it can work with different windows language setting?
