Starting just a little while ago when I click on outlook express the window starts to load then freezes. I tried restarting computer a couple time without helping. I logged onto the other user and outlook express works just fine there. I tried going to add/remove programs and tried getting to the repair option by deleting IE. Only I didn't get the option, it just did its delete thing. (A really scarry thing for a relative rookie). From what I can tell nothing disappeared except that now IE doesn't appear in add/remove programs anymore. One other thing I tried was restoring system to a time a few hours ahead of when I started having the problem. It didn't help so I restored back to the present for now. Any ideas. Thanks Larry

What version of Outlook Express were you using?
You said that your other users could access Outlook, so it would indicate to me that you've got some type of settings problem. I'd poke around in C:\Documents and Settings\< your username> and find where Outlook's settings are kept, and delete them. That should clear up your issue. The downside is that you may end up having to reconfigure your e-mail settings, but you would have probably had to do that anyways if your settings are corrupt.

PoA... you were right. After a few hours of tring this and that disabling my virus program solved the problem. I enabled the program shortly after and everything still seems to be working normally. Thanks for the reply. Larry

What did you find out about your msimn.exe problem? I am having the same problem plus when I am working on the web the same thing happens with CCAPP.exe. I don't know much about computers and this is killing me.
