I am new to this forum, and I was wondering if there is a why for me to connect our desktop computer to be the main computer on a wireless network, and then I could be in our living room surfing the internet on my laptop.
My laptop has a Wireless Internet Connection built into it (80211 b/g).
Or could I someone put a wireless router in my room and connect a phone line to it, so I can be on AT&T dial-up at the exact same time my other computer is logged on.
Both my PC and my laptop have a IEEE1394 port, but I don't know if that would help me.
Coud I buy something like this at Best Buy or Circuit City?
Any information and/or directions and websites are appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
