Hi I was wondering , I am using dew-newphplinks for a fitness site that I have for my links page, do you think that is a bad idea or a good idea. there are lots of catagories that are off topic will that hurt my site in any way with seo??? newish to seo

Off topic will not help you to get good search results, don't deviate your site subjects to different area, moreover consider adding keyword rich content.
