hello,
I was about to order some parts for a new computer but i wanted to double check first to make sure everything is compatible.
The parts are:
ASUS "A7V8X-MX SE" KM400 Chipset Motherboard for AMD Socket A
AMD Athlon XP 2500+ "Barton", 333 FSB, 512K Cache
Crucial 184 Pin 512MB DDR PC-2700
If anyone has any suggestions please let me know. Thanks

Hi mate,

What purpose is the system to be used for please? It seems to me that you've picked a really poor motherboard to base a system on, if it's to be used for anything beyond the most basic of computing tasks.

Its for my parents, i was pretty much just looking for something affordable but up to date. They mostly just check their email and surf the internet. I am, however, open to any suggestions you may have. thanks
