Network printer problem

Expand Post »
I have a home network that shares an XP-home PC and a Mac OSX computer and a brother network capable printer connected to a hub. Everything was working fine for 3 months, but my printer stopped working on the mac after doing some work on my PC (still works from the PC). I tried reinstalling the drivers on the mac, but get an error that says "there was an error, please retry". I removed the printer on the mac printer setup page. Using rendevous, I tryed to add the printer again, but when I try to add the printer on the mac setup page I get the follwing error.
"successful-ok-conflicting-attributes"

Any ideas? I'm a mac newbie and not sure what this means or where to even start.
