Ipod touch not restoring

hi,

I was given an ipod touch which didn't tuen on or charge up or anything.

I plugged it into my pc and it installed the drivers for it.

I then tried to restore it using itunes and it didn't work.

the first time i got an error code and i reearched it and it said it was something about the USB socket.
I then tried it in my other pc and i got the error code 3000.

any ideas will be helpful :)

Hello ben.matthews18,
Have you tried putting the device into DFU mode? Have you tried disabling all security software? Sometimes this causes problems.
