Wacom legacy Intuos tablet on a Mac Pro?

Expand Post »
Howdy,

At work, a beautiful 12x12? Wacom Intuos (Intuos not Intuos3!) graphics tablet was unearthed from the pit of unused equipment. I asked my boss if it still worked, he said the tablet still worked, but no computer had an ADB port for it anymore. He said he already contacted wacom way back to see if they offered any adapter for it, but they replied no.

It still is painful to see such a nice tablet to go to waste...

Does anybody know how we can hook up this historical legacy device? I've looked for adb-serial adb-usb connectors, etc. I can't seem to find any. Also, even if I do get it hooked up, will the archaic drivers work on OSX?

So, we're trying to get this old Intuos tablet with an ADB connection to work on a Mac Pro . . . with OS X.
Any suggestions on how to save this tablet is appreciated!
