How much of a difference will this new OS have for those of us with Intel Mac's ?

for users that are already using leopard, it wont be a huge change. there will be some minor updates, but it's really just like a Service Pack for Windows.

Hmmm. I thought it was supposed to improve performance or something? This way the OS is completely designed for the Intel hardware, as opposed to being universal and for all mac hardware.

I think that may be part of it too, but I know it's not going to be a massive overhaul or anything. Nothing like Tiger -> Leopard
