My mac won't start up, it is always stuck on the Silver apple screen with a loading wheel. I tried using installer disc to boot, but my drive keeps on spitting the disc out. I need the files inside the mac. Anyone has a suggestion to solve the problem?

Try holding down Command-Option-P-R Reset Parameter RAM (PRAM) and non-volatile RAM (NVRAM) when booting then turn on, after that if it still does not boot hold down Command-V this will show the boot process see where it is freezing. If you really need the files pull the HD out and out it in a usb enclosure

double posted.

First option does not work. In verbose mode: disk0s2: 0xe0030005(undefined) and then keeps returning, 'could not create "file system unmounted" notification' then it hangs.
