Spotlight Search Adobe Files?

Expand Post »
Hey,

Does anyone know how I can add file types to Spotlight searches? I am constantly having trouble finding old Illustrator and Photoshop files. Does adobe have a plugin download somewhere?

Thanks,
Jason

Re: Spotlight Search Adobe Files?

Spotlight works great for quick searches, but I don't think that spotlight is what you are looking for. Try search (apple f). This utility will allow you to create any search criteria and either save it to your finder window or place it in a folder so your finder window does not get too cluttered.

I have to agree about Spotlight. It rarely finds what I'm looking for.
If the above doesn't help enough, Easyfind is an excellent finder application that I've used for years. In fact I just updated my version after many years of satisfactory usage.
