:confused: Hi everyone, just recently i have experienced major problems using the apple dvd player on osx 1.5. It just wont recognise dvds but cds are fine. I would be greatful for any help its driving me crazy!! thanx
I'm having the same problem, and Apple tier 2 support tried all they could to fix it over the phone with me to no avail. They concluded it needs repair. They explained that there are two different lasers. One for CD and one for DVD. This is on an eMac 700mghzt combo drive. Fortunately it's still under warranty.
