Help with Mac G4

Hi there
First time visitor. My mac G4 has suddenly gone to a blue screen after I downloaded the latest Quicktime update. I was out of the room so I dont' know at which stage it went to blue screen. Ocassionally the little "warming up' logo or the curser appears but doessn't stay. I can't access anything. have tried shutting down and restarting but only get blue screen. Help please

At what point do you see the blue screen? Very specifically?

Thank you very much for your reply. I couldn't wait so took it to the Mac shop for repairs and it is fixed now.
