Ichat not opening after hibernate

I just picked up a Macbook black core duo. and i love it! i had a few problems in the beggining and like any good mac user i waited till the patches came out and everything was great.

BUT as there always is a but, my ichat if i have it running will crash when i try to run it after i wake up from a hibernate and i usually have to repair disk permissions to get it to work again. any ideas??

Probably your hard disk is having some sort of data corruption. The best thing to do right now is to reformat it right now, as you hopefully don't have too much data on the drive right now. Information on properly reformatting a Mac can be found in the sticky at the top of this forum. If the problem persists after a reformat, I would say you should call Apple's tech support.
